SFBU & Coursera Academy Registration Guide

How to Enroll in Coursera Career Academy through SFBU

San Francisco Bay University students now can access 35 industry-developed certificate programs through Coursera Career Academy, including certifications in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, UX design, marketing, and more! 

Follow the steps below to enroll and kick-start your learning journey.

Step 1: Open the Registration Link

1. Open the registration link in your web browser: Register for Coursera Career Academy.

2. Click "Join" to begin.

Step 2: Log in with San Francisco Bay University

• On the login page, select "Log in with San Francisco Bay University." 

Step 3: Select Your User Type

You will be prompted to select one of the following two options:

• I'm a new Coursera user

• I'm an existing Coursera user

Choose "I'm a new Coursera user" if you don’t already have a Coursera account.

Step 4: Set Up Your Account

1. Create a new Coursera account using your SFBU student email address (e.g., test@student.sfbu.edu).

2. Set a strong password for your account and click Continue.

Step 5: Accept Terms and Conditions

• Carefully read Coursera’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, then accept them to continue.

Step 6: Join the Learning Program

• Click the Join the Learning Program button to proceed.

Step 7: Confirm Enrollment

• After successfully joining, you should see the San Francisco Bay University Career Academy portal for students.

Step 8: Search and Enroll in Your Preferred Course

• Use the Search bar to find your preferred course.
  
  

• Click Enroll on the course you select.

Step 9: Commit to Completion

1. Check the box that says, "I commit to completing the course."

2. Click Start Course to begin your learning journey.
